Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)

MLD is a specialised, very gentle massage technique designed to encourage the natural movement of lymph fluid around the body. It is a very gentle, non-invasive skin stretching massage that can be particularly helpful where there is swelling or fluid retention. MLD may also be suitable as part of your recovery following certain surgical procedures. Treatment is gentle and adapted to your individual stage of recovery. Medical clearance from your surgeon is required before treatment. I am proud to have completed a MLD post surgery qualification.

Your treatment, tailored to you

Before your treatment, we'll complete a consultation to discuss why you're having MLD and any relevant medical history, so I can make sure the treatment is appropriate and tailor it to your individual needs.

How much will it cost?

One session lasting 30 minutes is £40 (this session is only suitable if you are looking at one or two particular areas)

One session lasting one hour is £60

Home visits

Home visits may be available if you're unable to travel to me following surgery. Additional charges apply.

WOOD THERAPY

A natural, hands-on treatment using specially designed wooden tools

Colombian Wood Therapy, also known as Maderotherapy, is a massage technique using specially designed wooden tools such as rollers and sculpting tools to apply targeted pressure to the body.

What can Wood Therapy help with?

Clients often use Wood Therapy for a variety of reasons, including:
